Call for Abstracts

The 2nd ICON-LIG covers the scope from basic to advanced investigation on harvesting, conversion, and characterization of biomass, as well as its respective derivative materials such as forest products, cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, tannin, essential oils, natural resin, biobased polymer, and composite. The coverage includes applications in industries such as agriculture, engineering, environmental, medical sectors, etc. The theme of the 2nd ICON-LIG is Fostering Innovation and Increasing the Economic Value of Sustainable Materials through Scientific Discovery, Technological Progress, and Industrial Partnership.  Papers in support of the theme and related fields will be highlighted beside interdisciplinary studies that deliver insights and cognitive advancement to integrate the strengths emerging from each scientific discipline.

 

The 2nd ICON-LIG aims to assess the current state-of-the-art technologies and to identify key breakthroughs and emerging R&D challenges that are critical to achieve the SDGs. The event is also intended to encourage international collaboration by serving as a platform for the participants to establish a scientific network related to their disciplines as well as to provide an update on the possible scientific actions to assess effective solutions for a sustainable future.

 

Technical presentations will be made by invited and selected distinguished speakers, and plenary discussions on future research directions and “roadmap” will be organized. Abstract submission deadline is July 1st, 2022.

Note that the lists only cover major topics; therefore, other areas related to the theme are also welcomed for submission. The decision whether the manuscript meets the scopes of the Conference will be based on the Abstract selection and will be made by the Reviewer Team.
